Future Shorts
Future Shorts have signed up to two dates this year, after the success of their event with us last November. The Bridge SE1 will be host to a spectacular evening fusing cinema, music & theatre, the first of which is 1st June.
The venue will be transformed into a Transylvanian gothic themed palace with a vintage gothic cinema, a ballroom and a host of other rooms, each featuring a wide range of different entertainment. Over 100 performers are confirmed for the event, which is being directed by dynamic theatre directors ANGELIKI AND GALYA who are turning the space into a surreal and highly interactive environment.
There will be trapeze artists, installations, burlesque performers, gypsy bands, DJs, roving musicians and much, much more. The gothic cinema will house FUTURE SHORTS showing the very best in world short film and music video including classic short films by MIKE LEIGH AND SPIKE JONZE, alongside the very best new directors. This time they plan to take the entire venue, allowing them a maximum legal capacity of 3,300.
